Best Practice Excellence Award in Digital Technology Media Creation“Fake News Detective Academy” is an interactive digital learning media web application developed by Mr. Kasannop Yodkul, ETC Alumni Class 11, a Professional Level Teacher at Ban Kraten School under the Sisaket Primary Educational Service Area Office 2. This work received the Best Practice Excellence Award in the category of Digital Technology Media Creator under the national project for promoting and driving digital technology-based learning management through the digital learning platform for basic education, fiscal year 2026. The web application was designed for Grade 6 students in Computing Science. It aims to promote media literacy and AI literacy through game-based detective missions. Students are encouraged to think critically, verify information, distinguish facts from opinions, and make decisions based on simulated real-life situations. Key features include six detective case missions, an AI assistant, individualized AI-based feedback, Thai text-to-speech support, a star and XP reward system, a leaderboard, and a teacher dashboard for monitoring students’ learning progress. This work reflects the potential of ETC alumni in applying educational technology, digital media design, and learning innovation to create meaningful and high-quality learning media for learners in the digital age.
